All types of mixed rubbish (concrete, masonry, soils, metals, plastics, timbers, greens, etc.)
Estimate pile of rubbish by using formula length x width x height = volume(m3).
For example: 1.8m x 1.6m x 1.3m = 3.7 cubic metres of rubbish so therefore choose a 4 cubic metre bin.
All customers get the option to hire any bin size for a maximum of 14 days if needed. We do prefer the customer to contact us by phone or the online pick up form once the skip bin has been filled within the recommended hire period.
No. All bins must not be filled above rim. All bins are clearly marked as per photos.
Drivers do carry tarps to cover bins for safe transportation. Overloaded bins are dangerous and create Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) and Occupational Health and Safety risks
If the skip is overloaded, we can will arrange for an additional bin to be delivered (at the customers cost) and the customer will be asked to unload the excess waste that is protruding. Overloaded bins are dangerous and create Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A.) and Occupational Health and Safety risks.
Make sure you have access for the truck and space for the bin. Make sure to leave room for the delivery of the bin & the pick up of the bin when full.Make sure there is no overhanging tress or powerlines (7 metres clearance required to comply with OH&S). Make sure your car, boat or caravan is moved if needed prior to the bin being delivered and that car keys are available for vehicles on site if needed. Make sure you have not placed your rubbish where your skip bin is to be placed.
The bins must be placed on your property unless you have a permit from the local council. Basically a bin container is considered as a unregistered vehicle by the authorities of law. Please see the Downloads section located at bottom of the Home Page for the appropriate PDF copy of certificate business liability.
Please allow sufficient access for trucks, so driveways need to be at least a width of 2.4 metres and height clearances of 2.7 metres for 2m³, 3m³, 4m³ skip bins. As for the 6m³, 10m³ and 20cm³ bins a width of 2.7 metres and height clearance 4 metres.
Make sure that there are no over hanging trees, roof eves etc. which may affect the truck’s access to positioning the bin onsite.
No. The operator will endeavour to place the bin in your requested position. Moving the bin in most instances prevents the recovery of the bin & will result in extra charges for yourself & having to empty the bin out before it is moved again. Sometimes the skip bin cannot be placed where you want. This may be due to overhanging trees, powerlines or sloping ground.
If concerned about any damage to the driveway best to lay down some timber bearers for bin sit on top or apply for council permit if property allows no other access. Otherwise we do offer a same day delivery and pickup service.
Please consider that the trucks are heavy and even heavier on the pickup of the bins, so make sure that the driveway and lawn areas are not vulnerable to the excessive weight of the truck.
Blue Bins Waste Pty Ltd will take no responsibility for any damages sub-stained to any areas of the property due to poor workmanship and construction. All our subcontract drivers have insurance cover if damage is caused by vehicles.
